    Yep, Heritage are the official UK distributer of Classic Parts. You can order directly though too but you really need to do a big order to make it worth it with the transfer fees etc.

    Yeah they should be ok, as long as the calipers are good they should clean up after a few miles... could pull the handbrake a couple of times whilst driving to speed up the process too. Hairspray is the stuff to use in future - stops them surface rusting!

    Yeah new one comes with gasket - quite a nice little assembly

    Yeah, the other issue is the rust spreads from that panel and also the screws... Well worth getting stainless steel replacement screws, new number plate lights are £12 from VW. NB - the panel used to only be a fiver (bare metal) but is now obselete

    Somethings collapsed on the drivers side, maybe a shock or broken spring... You could jack it up and have a look but I wouldn't drive it like that unless you have a kwikfit nearby.

    I think 205/45/16 is what you want... 50 profile is too big and 195's will be a bit too streched on a 7.5J 40 profile will be too uncomfortable I reckon too.

    Me too, just did 850 miles round Wales and didn't miss a beat, great handling and 55Mpg!

    Each unfortunatly... since then VAT and VW prices have gone up but you should be able to get a pair for £250 I personally wouldn't bother refurbing while you can still get new - cases, surrounds, adjusters and lenses as well as the reflectors

    You can get them new from VW for less than that - I paid £95 + vat just before xmas

    The DSG box is actually lighter than the 02M manual! The 7 Spd box weighs 70kg

    Doesn't really help that they don't put the length on there... I think it may be wrong as it's too expensive - cheaper from VW / TPS 021145933C - 7PK1290 - £13.44 ---------- Post added at 02:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:25 PM ---------- Ah no it is right as the pic shows the size... price includes VAT too I think so not too bad although they were doing 30% off over the wedding weekend!

    Yep, always VW for sensors and other critical parts... worth changing the blue one while you're there too

    Bare in mind they can't send anything back to VW, this is why so much stuff that's incorrectly ordered or not payed for ends up on eBay, at shows and chucked away...

    It's the problem with them being franchised, some just don't give a f*ck and are giving VW a really bad reputation for it! I'd order a load of Corrado specific parts and then just refuse to pay... most parts have at least 10-20% discount permissable and sometimes up to 40%
