They used to always keep them instock - £2.25 each back in the day!
-
Mics isn't for sale is it??!!!?
-
They're like £3 from VW aren't they??
-
Lol!

Most genuie discs have the part number and run out round the edge but not all and they are one of the bigger ones VW do... I wouldn't doubt VW spares though - very reputable place and I know they have a TPS account

Pressure plate's always part of the 3 pce kit, will be fine! -
As above - should feel like a MK2 Golf only better handling, more confident and (aero) dynamic. I've just done an 850 mile round trip of Wales in mine and absolutely loved it, great roads and car handled sublimely!
-
One hour each side if it goes to plan... ie the bolts come undone ok. New TT / R32 bushes are £12 from VW / audi. The wishbones that come with BJ's already fitted are awful quality - fit VW only if buying new ones!
-
Pressure is pressure isn't it? I ran my Golfs at 28-30 all round but the Corrado just seems to need at least 36 at the front to feel right...

Yeah, knackered stat - won't be helping fuel economy -
It could just be a bad bearing - did you check the play?

Bosch dealer

Sometimes the plastic in the mech develops stress cracks - have a look and maybe tighten using a cable tie?
-
Good call with the for, the O ring may need replacing

Horn wiring is easy enough to chase on a MK2, also see if the relay clicks -

The Tyre Discussion Thread - please read 1st post

They're a good tyre, low noise, very long life but grip is not great as they are quite hard... I bought 195/45/16's from Bestbuytyres - £200 for 4 delivered and got a free (massive) Pirelli bag. My fronts lasted 24k miles and I've had 2 more pairs since then, Eagle F1's and Conti Sport 2's both of which felt a bit better for grip. The rears are still on the car and have done 40k (!!) and still only just over half worn. I'd buy again though, especially at the price above and the other thing I've noticed is the sidewalls seem to hold up better than any tyres I've ever had ie don't show signs of perishing) - the rear tyres which are now 3 years old look just as new as the fronts which are 3 months old! -
BM - the 20a fuse is for Electric Windows and the 30a will either be for Aircon or ELRA
-
Ah - no that's not actually a fuse socket, it's an accessory point - some are switched live and some for illumination for optional accessories - heated seats etc.
-
Fla - the VR needs 98Ron minimum, it's in the book and on the fuel cap!

MK4 Calliper Conversion - Banjo bolts are too short?

I'd ring Goodridge - I reckon you have the correct kit but they've made it with the wrong parts (!) - not the first time I've seen this either... -
Yeah - bit of a bodge but has proven a good upgrade! The easier route is the 305mm Seat Ibiza Brembo setup
-
Shame you didn't need one yesterday when Eurocarparts were doing the 30% off!! Try a Bosch dealer - should be about £50
-
Hi mate, just saw your email... I like the way it decided to only break when you got back - typical Corrado! Just a thought, keep the magnex back box as they are great and maybe try a straight pipe from the cat to it - that Powerflow place should be able to do this cheaply I would expect.
