  1. Eurocarparts do exchange racks but I'd change the pipes first and it maybe fine/ Make sure you use the correct green VW fluid - £5 from the dealer
  2. How do you catch a bra? wait for it.... Set a boobie trap!

  4. Standard M6 bolt - get some stainless replacements
  5. Welcome to the forum. It's usually the wiring at the button that's the issue - especially if you don't hear the relay click. The earth is made through the steering column itself.
  6. It's for the indicators surprisingly ;-) Top row far right I think!
  7. M42 SGM (I think) spotted today in Central London
  8. Another great thread title... It's a 21 year old car at the end of the day... when you but a 10 year old car there is always a good chance you will end up spending more in your first year that it would have cost to buy one 2 years younger... it's just the way it is. Every thread you start seems to just be moaning - How much did you pay for it in the first place?
  9. Useless... Discs 6KL615301 £52.48 each Pads 6KL698151 £60.17
  10. I reckon they are just seeing excessive hits to this site... Rebuilding the PC sounds a bit ridiculous - we hardly ever rebuild desktops outside of HDD failures. Speak to your IT for clarification
  11. Yeah they changed them...
  12. Yep - yours is very old then, may even be original!
  13. Welcome to the forum - That's the standard ABS master for a RHD car (the only other type on Corrado's is the Non-ABS type) I had heard it was obselete from VW (not sure if this is true though) but you could try a brake specialist to get it rebuild or an ATE dealer as they made the original part.
  14. About £20 mate - change it if it's not a '32' as they've improved the original - causes all sorts of weird issues!

    Fuel relay?

If they don't know where the relay is (same positions on every VW fuse box) I wouldn't use them!!!
  16. One though you could try is holding the union nut tight with a flare nut spanner of stiltsons and undoing the pipe, could even chop the pipe and use a socket as they are coming off anyway. Have a look at Yan's VR6 thread - some good pics on pipe flaring and replacement.
  17. Yeah that pipe is pretty bad - mum's Golf just sailed through another MOT but 2 of the rear pipes were advisories, no where near that bad though but not suprising as it's now 15 years old. As above I'd rather use steel as it's good for another 15 years although copper is a lot easier to work with... Yan - I have a load of standard lengths of pipe already flared with ends - give me a shout if you need any as the VW flares are perfect, Kev's used a couple too!
  18. 109 is the ECU relay - worth changing this anyway tbh...
  19. Could be the pump, I would try a new FP relay first though and ECU relay What year is it? - also wondering about the factory imob...
