  1. Have to agree. I never got why people removed them until seeing that before and after. Think mines gonna have to go now!
  2. Thanks again guys! Productive day today, all back together on the exterior. Need to jiggle the bonnet to line it up properly, and tint the replacement fog, then give it a good clean. Not washed it in 3 1/2 months so it's dusty as hell! Spare aux pump fitted and I'm now water leak free. Interior is now complete! Need to leave it 24 hours before use, so I'll start getting it back in on Monday. Need to sort tax, then she'll be going on her first outing since February. Fingers crossed everything goes to plan! A couple of photos. Even after not being washed in so long, its good to see the last coat of wax is still doing its job! Can't wait to be able to use a proper seat again! Really should tidy it up in there first! Also reminds me, I still need to knock up the door membranes to replace the knackered ones still in there.
  3. What is your budget? I can vouch for somersetdubs car in the for sale thread now. Not cheap, but worth every penny imo! You'd be hard pressed to find a better example currently for sale.
  4. Perhaps get a red tint film. That way it's easily changed back to standard should you wish, and won't ruin the lights. They aren't particularly hard to come by though, if you like the red, get them done professionally and they'll look great.
  5. Haha, yeah the look like it don't they! A couple of the guys that use the workshop do off-road competitions. They're off one of their cars. They have three or four so not sure which one tbh. The leak looks to be coming from the plastic join in the centre of the pump rather than a hose, so it needs swapping out for one of the spares I have. Not sure which, if any are good though. I'll just have to swap em and see.
  6. Had a few hours on it today. All bar one water leak has been sorted, and that's coming from the aux water pump. Got two spare but not sure if they're any kop either. Interior has been fully prepped and the first basecoat applied with the sponge. Gotta say I'm really impressed with the furniture clinic kit so far. It looks great already and I'm really excited to have a pretty much as new interior on completion! Got all day tomorrow to progress a bit further with it so hopefully get a couple of coats sprayed on. Bonnet is also back on now, just need to secure the front bumper and refit the lighting and exterior is good to go. Starting to look like a car again though, and I'd almost forgotten how great and purposeful they look!
  7. Looms great! Where did you get them from? I'm getting bonnet pin envy now!
  8. Saying that, the first pic really does look like it's too close actually.
  9. Think that's pretty standard with a r32 in a Corrado. The rad is correctly sited, maybe a new/solid front mount to stop the engine rocking so much under load would be a good bet. I'm sure someone who has/had the conversion will be able to give a definitive answer though.
  10. Ok just re-read the whole thread and had a look at a spare set I have in the shed. The Pentagonal frame you mention is what I meant to unbolt the whole thing. That frame should actually be attached to the central thread, and not rotate freely. The plastic where the thread is at a guess just a washer to protect the metal. The nut should be behind that plastic washer, but it's not really accessible. As you have the frame loose, and the mechanism isn't tight to the bonnet, you should be able to move it side to side. That's what I meant when I said semi captive. The nut underneath shouldn't turn as its mounted with horizontal guides above and below, but that obviously allows side to side movement. I hope this makes a bit more sense. I think you just need to get medieval with it!
  11. I'd be in on a group buy. After having a ride in a vr with the b12 kit (on standard wheels admittedly), suspension has risen much further up my priority list!
  12. Pour a bottle of olive oil down there, should come out then.
  13. Very good, nice and subtle mate. What finish is that anyway?
  14. Do we have to order tickets in advance or can we pay on the day? (May be able to get cover so may be able to do Sunday too). Can't see anything on the website.
  15. Oh I thought you were trying to get it closed!
  16. Is the triangle removed? It's a nightmare closing them with it in, so I'd suggest trying to free it up with it removed first. With it out, see if there are any loose threads underneath jamming it. Use a needle or something similar to pick and pull it out if so.

    Gear knob clip

Yeah I have one Jon. PM me your details and you can have it for the price of postage. I'll get it off to you on Saturday if that's ok.
  18. Ecp of those two. Have a look at the websites, Ecp cost about a third less than halfords unless you have a trade card.
  19. Interested in the airbox, how much posted? or if you are going to National day or Bristol volksfest I could pick up from there as I'm in no great rush mate.

    RS 301's

That's the order I'd put them in as you have originally. They're almost twice what I paid for the car!
  21. I wouldn't touch em mate. I'm in the middle of freshening up the beige!
  22. .................................... I got nothing to that. :(
  23. Says the man who wears a skirt.........:silent::rofl:
