  1. I think TT or R32 bushes are the recommended route for rear beam now? More positive than standard yet not as harsh as Poly.
  2. Yeah thats the purpose of George, he sucks wet as well as dry! Both equally effectively too.
  3. Its very good actually Kev. Very powerful motor and suction is the best I've had personally. (Beats the Dyson hands down for sure). Its our main hoover in the home and it was bought as I we've used Henrys on Ships for years, and they are indestructable! I didn't realise the Henry on general sale has a plastic casing though, the ones we use have metal casings. The George is Heavy plastic but still very robust.
  4. Cant beat a George! A fair bit of money if its just for the car at £200 but they are excellent.
  5. Were you Tristan L's best man a few years back Rog?
  6. Ok buddy thanks. Just 39 posts behind now.........:rambo:
  7. If I could afford a 964 Turbo I'd be one happy boy....................
  8. I'm just trying to take over the mantle as prolific poster from you James!
  9. Tigerseal is great stuff, but if you want/need to take them off in the future, be prepared for it to be taking the paint with it!
  10. I thought all tyres were directional? Its to direct water out when moving forward. If you look at the tread pattern on the T1R its a kind of V shape. If they were on the wrong way round then when you were moving forward, it would draw the water inward.
  11. I stand corrected if cazza has figures to back up the gains.
  12. The BMC being carbon keeps the air cooler when under bonnet temps are high. That much gain from any filter is a myth tbh. The BMC creates an incredible noise, and the inlet side of the filter is far bigger and less restrictive than a standard airbox. Put a cold air feed onto the BMC and your on to a winner in all departments.
  13. Coming to a club near you!
  14. There are some fantastic examples on there tbh. Some prices are quite wild, but some dont seem too far over normal trade prices if they are in decent nick.

    Window rattle

My passenger window rattles from the top when it's fully up. If I crack it down very slightly (a couple of mm) so it's still under the seal, it stops rattling. I've seen guide clips in the past that hold the glass still when windows are up but can't seem to find them. anybody have any ideas?
  16. Good to know that! I've got one saved on eBay but its £55! Don't think I could justify that no matter how original it is......
  17. Look forward to seeing this as it was under cover when I came over! Andy, you mentioned you had a few splitters when I saw you last, wouldn't be willing to let a 90mm one go for the right price would you? Sounds like a good idea that too Daren! Martin (vr6 south) mentioned he used to organise a local meet that was well attended, but it's been a while since there has been one. Something like what Fay organised with the Sussex meet that was well attended by surrounding counties too. Something I'd look forward to!
  18. What are the the width of the wheels and offset? Doesn't really matter how big the lip if if you have the correct sizing mate.
  19. Mindless imbeciles mate. It wasn't all that bad though as it was well broken up by the police. Half a dozen mounted police waving riot sticks like an 80s German at a hardcore house party waving a glow stick breaks it up pretty well! Poor groundsman is gonna have to deal with the mess left by those horses on the pitch though!
  20. Yep, mine does exactly that too. I'd start by looking at the oil sender then. Usually the first thing to check and its cheap and easy to replace.
  21. Classic or Dragon green C near Whitely Fareham today @ 1600. Couldnt get year/reg or type as I was too far behind and missus was driving! Nice to see another in the local area!
  22. What has your water temp been like Jim? anything abnormal? May just be the temp sensor reading a bit high.
