  1. I was expecting a chinese gold fish gulping.
  2. I can ask Robin from Stealth what kit they use if you like.
  3. Annoyingly don't have the measurements for late only early then - might well explain the confusion of the leads and part numbers with aftermarket leads.
  4. Look on here all number 5 with measurements. http://www.oemepc.com/vw/part_single/catalog/vw/markt/RDW/modell/COR/year/1995/drive_standart/76/hg_ug/905/subcategory/199000/part_id/3706212/lange Make sure you look at the 93- 95. F 50-P-010 001>> on each lead as there is an early and late for each one. Although annoyingly they only have the dimensions of the early unless they are the same size.
  5. Look on the part diagram will probably have the leads sizes on etka - Im sure the Schick alters the way they sit from memory.
  6. The difference between the AAA and ABV leads is 100 hp 😂
  7. ZEF298 VW Corrado (53i) 2.9 VR6, Year of Construction 08.1991 - 12.1995, 2861 , 190 PS https://www.autodoc.co.uk/beru/992249 ZEF1260 These appear to be for AAA blocks but I imagine they would be similar but are not correct for ABV from this site and also Beru catalogue . VW Golf III Hatchback (1H1) (Year of Construction 01.1992 - 08.1997, 174 PS, Petrol) VW Passat B3/B4 Saloon (3A2, 35i) (Year of Construction 06.1991 - 08.1996, 174 PS, Petrol) VW Passat B3/B4 Estate (3A5, 35i) (Year of Construction 06.1991 - 05.1997, 174 PS, Petrol) VW Sharan I (7M8, 7M9, 7M6) (Year of Construction 09.1995 - 04.2000, 174 PS, Petrol) VW Vento (1H2) (Year of Construction 01.1992 - 09.1998, 174 PS, Petrol) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/beru/992710# However read the information for both think it describes it for coil pack/dizzy etc- My Bosch ones came with 7 leads and fitted fine just was left one spare so coils and dizzy might be the same leads.
  8. Mine is a coil pack mate but remember I have the Bosch ones - I posted above the Beru catalogue but put a warning out as its not clear. SEF298 is abv but 2.9 in a Mk3 golf so might be the synchro that only came in LHD one ? For corrado only lists 4 cylinder engines. If you look at my post above chap and download the catalogue all will make sense.
  9. Its a small world Corrado so I wouldn't be surprised.
  10. I think the biggest issue with this car apart from starting to look like a bronze age relic is the seller seems to of got of hold of the car and appears to be a chancer - good luck finding out any solid information off them - car best left alone another one will come along - ask yourself why was it left in a field in the first place.
  11. To be fair the 3351 ticks a lot boxes- always thought a corrado missed a trick not been rear wheel drive - cant help but think the Audi your selling is going to appreciate very shortly- they are maturing very well and have a dedicating following.
  12. The only thing with the small Bmw is the storage space - compared to a golf R - none of my business but have you driven.both mate as the golf r build quality is one of VW finest creation in a long - obviously not rear wheel drive though .
  13. There was an Australian member on here who purchased a VSR a fair few years back in the UK and shipped it over to OZ.
  14. Back on the market the winning bidder must of woke up and realised they should be banned from ebay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volkswagen-Corrado-1996-spares-repairs/324280245499?hash=item4b809bdcfb:g:~1oAAOSwGYFfPlPD
  15. Depends how close it is to the seat belt anchor point . Also will not look good on the MOT history mate if you ever sell the car. If desperate to pass mot just filt with metal filler and sand it off for not and do a proper job after mot. Seat Belt Anchorage prescribed area is excessively corroded nearside outer (sill) (5.2.6) Seat Belt Anchorage prescribed area is inadequately repaired offside rear (facing panel) (5.2.6) Seat Belt Anchorage prescribed area is excessively corroded offside rear (closing panel) (5.2.6)
  16. Might be worth checking that the filler cap has the o ring seal - is an odd one . I think once the pump started to rot into carried onto the sender .
  17. Thanks for the kind comments- if you missed out will be organising one next summer= more than lightly take on some of the twisties around Malvern or might head deeper into the Wye Valley for some cracking scenic shots.
  18. The gurgling sound is pretty normal in the dash when you turn the ignition on its just the coolant circulating. Hot and cold air will be the blend doors lack of foam on them or the cables not operating how they should not fully opening the blend doors in the heater box.
  19. Will be water ingress by the looks of it or somehow the cheap pump has caused this erosion- the thread actually recommend to get the more expensive OE VDO pump to be fair. Is that any could be a mixture of not been fitted correctly and seals not doing their job- hopefully your fuel filter has done its job and this crud getting into your block ?
  20. Its crazy money really - 964 have started to come down a bit now and I saw a guards red one sell for just a wee bit more than the asking price of this Rallye
  21. Thanks Tone- it was a nice little meet with about 14 cars in total and a Mk1 golf- there were early G60- fair few VR and valvers also some supercharged + turbos on display - all round pleasant morning and cant help but think we just pretty much saw off summer.

Looks like the seller of the car has carried out some great renovation work to the car- pretty sure I can see a new rad in there. Looks like the paint if fresh to - I would say they have spent a lot of money on this car at least 7k plus/
  23. Perfect for Irish roads I imagine the awd- would love a go in one some day to see what they are like- love the box arches on them.
  24. From chassis F 50-L-000 00 Part NO 3A0955435 appears to be obsolete or part number 333955435A which is also obsolete. There is an early one as well still available up to chassis F >> 50-K-030 000 https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/en/kappe-f4bf18.html
