  1. Good stuff Andy. You'd need to be pretty hardy to wash the car in these temps! Where did you get the battery cover from? - been meaning to get one for ages
  2. John - May wish to add the Prescott Hill Climb events? 24 & 25 April British & Midland Hill Climb Championships 29 & 30 May La Vie en Bleu (last year they had a EB 110 and Veyron turn up as well as a fly past from the Battle of Britain flight) 26 & 27 June Midland Hill Climb Championships 7 & 8 August Vintage 4 & 5 September British & Midland Hill Climb Championships 2 & 3 October Autumn Classic Vaughan
  3. Thanks John - really helpful. The earlier I can gets dates established the more chance of going
  4. Wow what crackin results! See you took the sidelights and roof strips off. How long did it all take and what was the make of polisher? Was it hard to do or just a case of following instructions?
  5. V good episode I thought- loved the James May , machete toting Van Halen thing - was JC more scared by that or the death road encounter  Having actually been on that road I can vouch for the heart in mouth, near death overtaking and passing moments that it throws up :pale:
  6. Cheers :) - much easier to keep clean these days as she is garaged and not a daily - do miss that though :( May think of getting another C when the lease car term runs out
  7. Very impressive - reckon you could start a business doing that! Quite labour intensive I guess? What's involved in the prep?
  8. Spotted by the long haired general - Green Corrado, East bound on M4 near Bristol 15:45pm - G805 EPL
  9. I can see this appearing in adverts - gotta be worth £250 extra  but what we really need is a celebrity owner - suggestions anyone?
  10. Crackin set of results there Jake. Reckon she's rewarded you well for all the love and attention (and cash) you've lavished on her. A+ in school terms :)
  11. Great to see this in the hands of a dedicated and enthusiatic owner. Keep the faith re the leather, sh1t happens and often worse than this! Best of luck with the restoration and look forward to seeing this in the flesh some time- never seen a Campaign Vaughan
  12. Great progress, like your list a lot :) I think new new tappets are definitely the recommended way to go (INA ones IIRC). I got Stealth to fit them at the same time as the cams.
  13. When Hammond emerged from his overnight in the back seat with a CD stuck on his face made us laugh as did the collapsable loo other that that a pretty ordinary episode - we are still on the waiting list though  What a bizarre space under the palace that was
  14. And another vote for the Airflow. Been using continously for 15 months now and not a problem :salute:
  15. Nice restoration project I reckon even if it cost ya $250,000, or maybe he'll break it and start hawking parts on the forum
  16. Always reassuring to see these high mileages are possible. At 83K I can probably still be driving the C in my dotage
  17. Good progress there - these cars do have a way of getting ya hooked don't they  I think I last saw it on your first day with it at Stonor earlier this year? Anyway may be along to the rolling road day at Stealth so will look forward to seeing it all in the flesh. Did the Eibachs make much difference? Did you put them both on at the same time?
  18. Clocked and re-badged? Average of 1 mile a day over 14 years to and from the caravan site
  19. Sorry to hear that Kip (on both counts):( Good luck with getting the damage sorted asap. No chance of a witness I suppose?
  20. Wow that's bad luck, feel for you. Looks as if they must have given it a fair old whack to distort it that much? No chance of getting the culprit? If its someone who lives in the street rather than a visitor then there's probably going to be some corresponding damage on their vehicle that might point you in the right direction. I might have a spare bumper avaialable next year but I doubt if you want to wait that long. Body shops can work wonders so I wouldn't be too downhearted about the other damage until you've had them look at it.
