    There is some info on other threads about the 3.6 final drive from the g60! I think the v5 gear box has been mentioned apparent ly the final drive on that box will have you wheel spinning every where.

    I would like some better speakers the old one really are poor when the volume goes up what would a set of these speakers cost with no discount?

    I have only walked up santapod so about 3 minutes for me, think it would be great to see how some mods compare to each other and even engines and I'm sure there would be a few surprises.

    I would give it a bash but way to busy this time of year, I'm thinking about organising a day at santapod next year possibly during vw action, would give us plenty of banter plus would be great to see who's quickest on the strip.

    Could be , measured the butter fly and it the same size as the one on my corrado the ports are also the same size.

    Starting to think that this throttle body is from a vento or passat.

    Got myself a polished and ported throttle body, I was told it was off of a corrado it has a single spring which I have been told appeared on the lattervr6's , b5 160 021 061m is the part number I have googled it but nothing comes up I have a slight inkling it is from a passat the outside body is slightly different but from what in an see the dimensions are The same and I don't think it is the smaller golf tb.     Keep track of it each day could be a small amount your loosing, also have found in the past some small leaks are not prominent until pressure builds up when the engine is running, had a pin hole radiator leak did a similar thing to the coolant.

    Possible there is a leak somewhere the coolant is pressurised to stop it boiling away at 100c. Have you noticed any loss in coolant recently?

    Some vr can sometimes stall when coming to junction or roundabouts when easing of the clutch even at speed, mine didn't it for a while have a search on the forum there should be a thread some where about it. Won't lie I have never heard of your exact problem before but the two maybe linked

    If Asda can put how much money they can save you compared to Tesco on national television instead of ************ think you can do it on here. We do it in the pub trade bt you can only put the competitions name and prices if the figures are accurate hmmmm.

    That's not bad at all, I might go down that route if my plans don't work out but I have a ported head and most the parts for a head rebuild all ready.

    looking for a set of valves for the vr as I'm rebuilding the head and would rather not reuse the old ones. Have found plenty of suppliers across the pond and the best I can do is $220 for a set of 12 before taxes and postage. Is there a UK supplier that any one would recommend? Eurocarparts sell exhaust valves but they are unbranded so a little cautious about them. Ta Ben
