Ghost in the shell is a great film the 2nd film is a little hard to follow. If your getting into manga akira should be your next stop, great story and an amazing sound track to go with it. The best version is the original with English subtitles that were translated by a jap think it's on VHS only, the later version was done by an American which makes for a cheesy translation and looses some of the emotion in what's being said. Not seen appleseed will give it a whirl though.

Expensive but the schrick manifold made a massive difference to how the vr drives, put an almost manic smile on my face when first trying it out. Have got use to it but occasionally it kicks in at the right moment just to remind me why I have it.

I bought a set of valve stems from eBay for £140 they were Italian ones and not ferra I will post the make later and the sellers details need to find the boxes with all the info which are at my folks .

Would this adapter be all that's needed to change an obd1 schrick manifold into obd2?

I had what was more like a rattle when under load and in first only same as you, it turned out to be that the six bolts connecting the gearbox flange to the drive shaft were loose. Due to the grinding sounds i don't think it's the same problem but worth checking.

Hi will, does this give any gains from being re ground. Does it just make it lighter or is this done to create a striker engine and increase the capacity.

Do you have to use 2x driver side lupo arms or can you use one driver and one passenger mines just snapped and need replacements

Read the obd2 conversion guide! The block and head is the same so will swap over obd2 is just the engine management and wiring it connects to the manifold and throttle body so those will need to be off of a obd2 car other than that yes it's a little less power but it can be done.

Just got my copy of the sprinter, the one bit of post the rabbit didn't eat unlike my tax disc! Looking forward to castle combe nice one Eric. I definitely think the club needs a bit more presence at shows and a few extras won't hurt, how much would a ccgb flag cost to buy for myself ? I go to different shows with family and friends and we all hoist an assortment of flags they all get noticed and one more club flag can't hurt. End of the day all members need to get involved with shows even if it's just a few of us meeting up for a chin wag and a brew. You only get out of it what you put in and I wouldn't wait for the ccgb committee to decide what shows you do and don't go to as they can't physically arrange for us to all meet at every single one After speaking with Andy and Eric I arranged for 5 of us to meet at the vw/Audi track day at castle combe earlier in the year didn't take much arranging and got plenty of attention when at the show. If there is four hundred current members I'm guessing not all of them are going to many shows if at all ,it takes active participation and the more people at events there are the more likely new members or potential ones are going to want to be part of the club. Regarding the membership fee again I have no problem paying a little extra and think it would be worth it but also think a little investment is needed too but believe that shiny banners and flags are only part of the solution and a little more of current members time needs to be invested to hopefully crank things up a little.

I for one don't mind the extra cost, but feel there must be ways to keep costs down and having the sprinter sent by email would be one of them although having a nice printed book sent post is a nice touch. What makes it hard to comment on this is that a lot of us don't know where the money is spent exactly and honestly I'm not to fussed on knowing, what I'm getting at is maybe if we identified areas that the club struggles with then maybe other members could pitch in to help over come these shortfalls. There is already a dedicated bunch running the club in there spare time and I'm sure others wouldn't begrudge helping out, I think the current management really just needs to communicate with the rest of us. I have yet to receive my copy of the sprinter so if what I have said is covered in there already then that is why.

My stereo now only works when the key is put into the ignition and turned one notch then it goes off and when the car is started will only come on if the key is wiggled while in the barrel, would swapping the ignition switch possibly resolve this.

Cheers Dude, main thing is it does not affect performance in a bad way so having one plus with a little extra noise cant hurt, will just have to see i have the pennies when the time coms.
