  2. I have been using poorboys wheel sealent its a pink paste thats applied and removed like a wax, couple of coats after a good clean and the break dust comes off real easy.
  3. Thanks to Daves16v, sorted me out with a spoiler module fair price and quick delivery not only that my spoiler goes up and down, again.
  4. Great work matey, top notch and a shame the weather has been so bad this year.
  5. Has any one on here taken up a policy with prestige? Find it hard to believe a member of this forum wouldn't say anything if they did considering they found out about it through this thread.
  6. Bacon definitely needs warnings on it - like how damn good it tastes !
  7. I thought if in good condition these go for a couple of grand or is there another variant of these that are worth more.
  8. Cheers dudes! Been off work this week so he's been spending quite a bit of time in the pub car park ,there was a audi day at bowood wad a bit manic at that junction
  9. Fitted a new spoiler module today thanks to dave16v, the old one had lost some of the circuitry on the board also after some fiddling with all the wires i have rewired the stereo to how vw intended minus the speed control wire and all of a sudden i have a working stereo, now i just need a new battery plus the horn has now decided its lost it voice. Cant have it all i suppose.
  10. Can really see the corrado/scirocco connection in some of those cars. Can't help but love the 928 stunning shape!
  11. A corrado making someone money for a change, must be a first! Your getting good at this trophy lark.
  12. Dude that's one seriously tidy motor. Nice paint too
  13. I found the stock suspension got better the quicker you went in a straight line but didnt like the roll and twitchy rear end when taking any kind of corners, I went for kw v1's in the end have them set to almost maximum travel and find them near spot on although a little softer on the dampening and I wouldn't say a word against them.
  14. All done but still nothing from the instrument panel lighting grey/blue ,followed it all the way to the fuse board and no breaks in the wire so at a loss to what the problem is plus I have tried it with 2 desperate stereos.
  15. Find it crazy that such a cheap part can take so long to replace.
  16. Best 2 minutes of that programme! Afraid i'm not a fan
  17. A friend briefly had an sl600 1k for a head light , if you can afford to run the car then fair enough go for it but I would miss my corrado
  18. Dave you have pm , cheers Rodmax thanks for the offer Thanks guys
  19. spoiler control module if you have it code must end with a C , how much posted Cheers Ben. Should have one on the way so no longer need one. Ta any how
  20. Seen a red one heading south from northampton been to ed38 im guessing
  21. Need a new or working module, some of the copper circuits on the board have burnt out. Needs to be posted unless close by. Cheers Ben
  22. Cheap parts as soon as you push them have a habit of breaking, if you want the car to handle well tyres would be my first point of call! If you want to trundle round town scraping the floor for all to see buy cheap.
  23. The cold air affects the track massively, no heat very little grip, come the evening they gave up as soon as the sun went down
  24. Bit of investigation today after the dash went back in the stereo and spoiler have stopped working, after testing wires and working out whats what the instrument cluster loom is getting replaced with one thats not burnt out. I think its all down to some dodgy earths and crossed wiring from the cluster, but we will see tomorrow.
