The metal parts I took off my early VR6 had slightly different angles to the leg. Thought it was the same on the late ones. Bet that it doesn’t make much difference though.
-
Well worth waiting for, a very nice example. This will look nice in it I’m sure ;). If you are interested give me a shout. Happy motoring matey.

^^^^^ everyone has noticed lmfao.

What about the fact it has 3 weeks MOT. I’d be a bit wary, of why the seller hasn’t put 12 months on it. I bet the brake lines and sill fronts don’t look any better than the engine bay.

Spal fan wiring and constant full speed dash switch

If you come across a twin fan mk5 golf and think they are the same, don’t bother Hassan they are slightly smaller and will not fit, I know 100% tried today. Cheapest error I’ve made cost £2 . -
I think trying to locate the above will do your nut in and test your Corrado love. I have been there. If you come across any colour doors undamaged and rust free, Buy them. Get them painted then fit them. It will save you a lot of money and time. Watch out for bulging rubber around the top of the door, I bought one that was no good because of this once stripped, gone too far. Good luck mate.

The rubber part is the same for both side on all models. The metal Bits are usually different on each side and between models.

Thats the ones, every Corrado needs 3, think easypops has some. He snapped them up real quick when someone was selling up a while back. Look like below but not as shot.

Brilliant. The three runners that the grill sits in would be top sellers, you can’t get them and everyone I speak to wouldn’t mind some. Is there any chance Anna you guys could get some done Cheers
-
Matt has sent a couple of photos over to share with you fellow Corrado junkies of his cup holder which I too have craving for. It certainly looks a lot more useful than an ash tray for rear passengers

A new holy grail thingy Cheers anyway Jon good luck with the clear out.

Long shot but If you have a good condition engine cover, can I have that please Cheees

Good stuff, well done matey and a good plan. I can see you achieving it at this rate.

If you are really struggling maybe someone like this can help. http://warwickradiatorscoventry.co.uk/

That’s right, no rubbing. Rimstyle supplied my spacers with the wheels and tyre, they may do just bolts and spacers. Telephone: 01233 503006 Sales Enquiries: [email protected]

You could use 10mm spacers on et48, that’s how I got to et38 215 tyre runs well on 7.5”

Is this any good https://www.mister-auto.co.uk/radiator/hella/8mk-376-714-561/

I haven’t but on a VR6 the left hand peg if you a stood infront of the engine goes in the top of the bracket in the photo. The VR6 slam panel is slightly different as well to take the radiator, I have an after market radiator of a similar size and have a bracket off the slam panel upright. Hope this helps

Have you tried hot wiring the fan from the battery to see if it will produce all three speeds, I’m wondering if the fan is goosed and will only work on speed 3. If the fan works correctly chase the wires from the fan plug to the controller ( big black relay near expansion tank) the positive feed wires from it to the fan maybe joined together so always sending power for speed 3

Finally have a rust free tailgate with unbroken plinth, working wash wiper and a bonus brake light to top it off. Marvellous.
-
Type in to eBay Connector removal tool. I got a three piece one from China for about £2.50 delivered and I’ve just done the connectors on the tailgate all plugs off undamaged and back on again, simples.

At the moment I run on 17” x 7.5” et38 bbs sr, 215 40 17 Michelin pilot. No rub and not too harsh. The 17 x 8 et30 I used to run with 215 40 17 much harder. I don’t think stretch on the sidewall does anything positive for a comfy ride. Tyres have worn well I think for the grip, I would would definitely recommend them. I don’t think I’ll run 17 x 8 again regularly, but never say never.

The 2.9 standard engine is 12 valve, could be 24 valve if a better head has been fitted. I am willing to bet corpious amounts of money that the 2.9 engine you have is NOT 16 valve. 2 engine mounts front and rear of engine and one gearbox mount.

I got a new glass, but very expensive, I also have a back up one I cut out of a tailgate. The seals are obsolete, I smashed my old tailgate glass to get the rubber out as it was stuck in with bonding agent. It is possible to get the seal out without disturbing the glass. But not on mine, as usual it was a complete git. A man is coming on Thursday to bond it in. Seen it done, a lot easier than the front £65 is the quote Ordered mine from heritage, was easily delivered as had a few bits at same time so it was free delivery. Think it took 3 weeks to come.
