Did you see the state of my old hatch once I got the rubber out. No way of knowing what lurks beneath the rubber until it bubbles up, by then it’s too late. If you were having a cut in job. You would then need to paint it also. I bet by the time you are done it would be £200 more. But it would be new and correct, no gambling and if your old hatch is rust free you could sell it.

I bought my hatch like that last January for £301.77. They have gone up since. The link below. I got it through Heritage saving on postage. Just have to give them the part number if they don’t list it and wait a bit longer. No mention of brake light hole on the classic website though. But it does come with one. https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/en/heckklappe-corrado.html £309.33 from heritage at the moment https://www.vwheritage.com/classic/?ClassicLookup=FLAP

Thanks guys got the part numbers and think I’m sorted, time will tell.

Cheers fend but they have none that I can find. Trying ESC in USA and eBay. If I get one, I’m going to put it in here. Im putting my new hatch together which I’ve had ages as my old one was shot.

As title people’s. Somebody must have one tucked away that their not going to use. Good money paid for a new one.

Rad support cross members are a bit thin on the ground. You can use any later one you just need to cut the sticky out bracket off yours and weld it to the other one, that is what I did for my panel in the photo.

When you remove the cassette from the car the centre cloth bit comes out with it but I can’t remember how it comes to bits once on the bench. I’m inclined to agree with fend that you have a different cassette with a Corrado sunroof panel in it because the bits you’ve circled aren’t visible in your photos and it needs them to slide:tilt as when they are broken the sunroof won’t drop down properly, I think because yours works as it should without them yours is off something different. That sunroof cover thing you can see the end of I bet that’s not the right part either, can you pull it forward and take a picture.
-
These photos of mine in tilt might help
-
It should have splines as in the photo
-
From the photos it looks like your trim isn’t attached to the sunroof. You should be adle to pull it forward into postition not sure how it attaches to the sunroof panel though, think there are a couple of fasteners and the slide bit pushes into a lock at the front, you may have take the roof liner out.

Are you still after one cressa. I have one somewhere. Let me know and I’ll have a look tomorrow.
-
You won’t dare take it to Tesco’s after.

Where abouts are you, I may be interested.

Sprinter does new ones http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?102494-holder-registration-plate-535813989-EU-US

What’s a door tilt handle Keyo?
-
You could need one like that if yours is broken, but chances are the bumper runners aren’t located in it properly. You need to strip it down and take a look, you don’t want that one anyway it has a broken bit. Lilfuzzer ^^^^^^ will have a better one and cheaper I bet too.

Cheers guys I ordered from heritage. When looking around it’s amazing what some people want for a small rubber disk some foreign seller on eBay wants over £30 for one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WASHER-RUBBER-RADIATOR-RUBBER-WASHER-COOLANT-ORIGINAL-VW-GOLF-1990-1992-/223025839605

Culshaw. I’ve found them, I nearly gave up. Pm me your details and I’ll post them if any good to you. The bracket needs a good fettle I’m afraid. Cressa. That would be great if you could.

I think I have 32 and 33 in the garage. I’ll check to you at the weekend when I’m home. Thanks m after 2 off No 35, anyone know if you can get these, I’ve used a bit of pipe/hose cut to about 10mm at the mo

Try putting the battery on charge if you don’t have a tester. If the amp metre flies up it’s drained and needs charging, might have been on the shelf a while and it sounds like you’ve been trying with it for while

Should fit new mounts when fitting new shocks or coilovers. Rear beam bushes too, as non wlll last long with a stiffish set up if not new.
-
I’m sure these were £100 back in the day from the dealers. They must have hundreds of them left.

I feel for you matey. Spent a lot of time and money on getting parts for my car only to get them home and find that my original joy at getting said part was misplaced, frustration follows the joy shortly after. That’s part of Corrado ownership. Highs and lows. The highs out way the lows though unless you don’t learn fast or can’t remember stuff. Having said that in the heat of the moment it’s hard to get your act together on something that’s not your everyday carry off. Good late wings are hard to come by though, have you tried lilfuzzer on here or put a wanted advert up.
