  1. N3P has 420+ bhp. I think Chris is somewhere around the 400 mark. You're a lucky sod Theo! I've never been in one either, I thought vince had a car that potential customers could have a spin in to see what it was like......
  2. I don't think that's astronomical money but still over priced. I'd imagine it would probably sell at close to that if the dealer held onto it for a little while
  3. Welcome back! Currently out of stock for the LH side at VW heritage https://www.vwheritage.com/535953141b-indicator-clear-left-hand-corrado-92-95 Right side is obsolete so you may need to go with a good used one depending on which side is broken.
  4. Think that's the highest I've seen! Gotta be like triggers broom though surely!?
  5. Good to know Jim, I want to replace mine so nice to know there are alternatives. Seats look very respectable too!
  6. I'm not 100% Chris, but I think I remember reading somewhere that they were £1500 as it happens, which was obviously a significant amount almost 25 year ago. To the OP, I wasn't trying to offend saying about the condition, apologies if it came across that way. As mentioned quite a few people are willing to part with their cash for these so you should get a very acceptable figure for them. GLWS.
  7. There are quite a few marks and defects on these, that said there seem to be quite a few people willing to part with their cash even on this thread! As you've mentioned Chris, you paid £1500 and yours are mint. The seller could probably put these on ebay and get £1500 now if no one on here wanted them. Remember, these were a very expensive factory option. Elec adjustable including all that has already been said also. Its the fact they're so hard to come by now that ensures prices remain high.
  8. That was pretty much the going rate until quite recently. Its only over the last year that prices for both cars and parts have increased quite dramatically!
  9. H reg White Valver in Plymouth Life Centre car park at 11 am today!
  10. They've got you by the coat tails there Hasan. Its a PITA, but they'll say its your mistake til you're blue in the face. As mentioned, if you SORN after paying up for the year, they'll refund what you've paid up front, or discontinue the direct debit if paying monthly. Obviously best to declare the SORN for the day before the DD comes out/beginning of the next month!!!!!
  11. Having seen it I can say it does look very good indeed, and very close to the actual aluminium colour as I've seen in paint. :thumbleft:
  12. Thanks bud, appreciate it! The manifold should have a rough texture to it from factory. It does make cleaning difficult though unless kept on top of. I use photobucket as image hosting, then copy and paste the URL link into the body of text on here.
  13. Yeah its a 2.9 one. Certainly something to watch out for that you don't get the restrictive plenum when searching. The Golf 2.8 boys like em for that reason though, which is why they may be becoming scarce. I tried to fit it a while back but I over-tightened one of the securing bolts when putting the original back on so it needs drilling out now. My original had been sanded back and polished when I got it, but I wasn't really a fan. In my effort to go back to as close to OEM as possible I painted it when I did the engine refurb a few years ago. I got this one about a year ago in order to get it properly original though. Mine will be for sale when I finally get it all together, but may be a while yet!
  14. I've got a vapour blasted upper inlet manifold in the garage to fit at some point. Twas an eBay bargain at £30!
  15. It was the outer boot they changed? Ok, as mentioned some have preferences on removing hub side, but if I were doing an inner CV with the aid of a ramp and air impact tools, I'd personally remove it at the gearbox end just removing the inner CV. Thats my preference though and maybe I was a little hasty and assumed that was what they did. I obviously jumped to the conclusion that it was the inner CV they changed too.
  16. The stretch ones still require one end to be removed though. The CV itself just doesn't have to be removed as the gaiter can be stretched over it.
  17. There are cheap gaiters that wrap around and are glued together, but it'll be obvious if they used one of those pieces of crap! They'd have to remove one end of the drive shaft to replace the gaiter. They're obviously just trying to call your bluff a bit. I'm sure a headed letter from a solicitor will make them re-consider!
  18. Rob, you're more than welcome to borrow mine for a little while to get a fell for it in various driving conditions. I won't be using it for a while!
  19. Its cable operated not rod linkage, so there are only really bushes that can be changed. These parts are available and may or may not make any difference tbh mate. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190787623684?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231012964731?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330887096330?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  20. I used the furniture clinic kit. They do a repair kit too. https://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Leather_Repair_Kit Some good tutorials on their website too. I'm not sure if I applied the colouring kit incorrectly, but its a bit tacky if I'm honest. It looks great and cleans up perfectly well, but your clothing fabric will stick a little when on long/sweaty journeys! The Gliptone kit may be better though.
  21. Looks like it was taken at Harewood last year.
  22. Yeah I'd echo what Chris has said on the bolsters Daren. A bit of leather filler may be needed though which will take away the texture. As for engine bay, hard to see what's wrong! New reservoirs maybe? Just turned to May on CCGB calender too, is that you!?
  23. A cheap cloth passenger seat to replace the bolster then! Not a great deal to do mate, good luck for the rest of the year, I'm sure you'll come away with a few more awards. Congrats again mate. :thumbleft:
  24. Well done Daren, excellent result! Was that with the H&R coilovers fitted too? I think with return to standard suspension and a lucky find on some original roof strips (you may be waiting a while though to find some)! You'll certainly give Paul a run for his money! You'll have the funds for it all with the sale of the RS's though! It's amazing as it is, but will you be pushing toward a 1st place in future?..... Definitely achievable, but you'll know what you lost points on and if it's worth pushing to correct them in the grand scheme. Keep it up mate, hopefully catch up before too long. :thumbleft:
