Would be nice to have enough power to keep the little shits away in the 1.6 seat turbos ! I imagine Vice could sort the chip out- only thing is the power is low on 4k revs in a VR and I don't think the chargers come on in till then. They do look tidy in the bay though.

Can buy the whole kit here with the same injectors. . https://www.vividracing.com/engineering-stage-supercharger-8psi-system-volkswagen-corrado-vr6-9195-p-150713639.html

There is some exceptional happiness seeing a schrick with a supercharge r !

Yes mate fit fine- think you will have a mission finding them now mate- I did get them from Heritage - I think they were sold more in the American market as it says lifetime guarantee on them. As Fen has mentioned Bremi is a good brand as well- in fact Vince uses there coil packs so he must trust the brand got one on mine.

Found the box for my bosch leads. Bosch 09338- Think they may be obsolete now.
-
Yeah I rate Beru great brand but not sure they are still available - I purchased these from a couple of years back- black bosch leads. Bosch Ignition Lead Set for VR6 SKU 905-QHT-020 Beru catalogue cant see none for a corrado VR6 but available for blocks 2E + ADY on page 461 on catalogue column 11 - also has sparks etc . However on page 462 under MK3 Golf has 2.9 VR6 ABV leads ZEF298. from 10/94 https://www.beruparts.co.uk/support/catalogues/products.html click on ctalogue and download. https://www.sparkplugs.co.uk/beru-ignition-cable-kit-zef298 Please don't take my word for it but the catalogue describes as correct- also on the bottom link has the measurements of the leads, My Bosch leads said fitted for a Corrado and Mk3 when I purchased them - study the catalogue they might fit they might not - its on you not me ha !

Midlanders Corrado River Severn Meet
Keyo replied to Keyo's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
Be great if you can make it mate- all the hard work you did - bet your car is desperate for a good run, some are coming far I think because of lockdown- small meets are the way forward and lets be honest will be winter before we know it and all the large shows got canx. There are lots of camps sites near by if you fancy making a weekend out of it, if a fisherman have a go for a Barbel on the River Severn - some monsters in there. Cressa would love to see your new paint job ! -
Only for a Corrado Im afraid for all markets.

30 years would do- 40 years is taking the mickeY !

Midlanders Corrado River Severn Meet
Keyo replied to Keyo's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
I'went here on Sunday to arrange this with the pub if anyone fancies popping over. -
All Midlander Corrado owners and beyond are welcome to attend a small gathering nestled on the banks of the Mighty River Severn deep in the Worcestershire Countryside. We have been granted permission by the proprietor of the freehold to park our vehicles on their Bankside long carpark for a car meet. An opportunity to get a cracking photo of the cars with the Severn backdrop and of course meet other Corrado owners - benches and sitting areas on the river bank next to the tarmac parking. If you fancy brunch pub serves food from 12.00 noon but sells drinks earlier . Please let us know if you can make it . This is not a corrado club meeting therefore they hold no liability and is a private meet. Pub also has fishing rights at no cost if you fancy spending the day on the bank and can get a rod in the car ! Thanks 10.00 am Sunday 30th August. Sure investment in a modern classic is not really on the cards taking into account the costs unless its a very high value car - looks a real nice one you got there just hope another none attention payer don't get you as the more its on the road so does the potential especially in rush hour traffic when people are most likely not to pay attention - I daily my Mk2 golf in the summer 6.00 am morning- 14.30 home (scaffolders early bird catches the worm) but the winters and the salt on the Motorways are just horrific for them and parts so hard to get a hold of. Tax will be free by the time they get to 40 years old- hopefully might drop down back to 25 years or less when we drop out of the EU as the 40 year old kicked in to tie into EU law whatever its called .
-
Congrats that looks a clean one with a good colour combo- sure investment- its a shame you have to daily it everyday and wont be a few winters on that snow and the rust will show its face. Cant you get a cheap Mk4 diesel or something for the daily drive.
-
Might be worth cutting in from bottom of Scuttle to the sunroof if you can get a good cut from somewhere .
-
To be honest its fitted now - Ive got rather handy at it and can fit one in 20 minutes now- you get good at something if you keep practicing ha ! You want to feel how hot its in that car with black paint and headliner in 30 degrees = quicker I get this garage built the better- I suppose in hotter climates they have this issue all the time.
-
No chap have not spoke out of the vag circle- the trimmer has done it Friday I stripped out the the headliner do he didnt crack every interior part so fingers crossed it is a success= looks awesome now but hard to take photos of it because of the darkness in the car- time will tell and another 30 degree devil of a day ha ! I was mocking him a bit and asked him if he made the old glue himself through lock down from a squirrel road kill and didn't see the funny side.

I was going to post this on your thread mate as your car is Japanese but didn't want to fill your thread with pictures chap unrelated to your restore. Although it does have your engine cover decal.

Someone shared me pictures of these rare VSR options by Cox Motorsport in Japan. They released a brochure with some parts that could be purchased from VW Motorsport and they would fit you together a VSR MK3 or Vento . They were a racing team based in Japan and still in existence today. As far as I'm aware these were not available to any other market and I Imagine because Cox were a racing team and they were allowed to sell them because I have never seen these items in any of the VAG Catalogues but could be wrong of course. http://www.cox.co.jp/company/r_history_e.html Includes the Vento Speed Lines which were a pricey £423.00 per alloy (£1692.00 a set of four in 1993) in today's money is £2,695.00 based on the bank England inflation calculator. There was also a 4 stud version in a smaller style and size. VSR Manifold Kit £3800.00 in 2003 VSR Package not including manifold or alloys in 2003 £1792.00 Lots of other extras you could buy including the VSR of course - steering wheel- VSR front decal and many other items. Attached various pages of the brochures - interesting read guys. https://m.blog.naver.com/PostView.nhn?blogId=kkk6323&logNo=220999371527&categoryNo=111&proxyReferer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F&fbclid=IwAR2aKFhRWb6sZMgBG5RvoKED2KlR6wJqLwJBq0NYvYz1SX4gUkyFCXNT4Qk
