  1. Here is the diagram - if you click on the information icon it will tell you what other cars it came on. https://volkswagen.7zap.com/en/rdw/corrado/cor/1995-76/9/905-200010/#3
  2. So this is how it is. Purchased 7 years back for £9700 Sold auction 2 years back for £18K Sold auction this weekend for £33K So it has an annual appreciation OF say 3 k every year since 2015, bit better then 0.1 interest savings account at Halifax.
  3. Found a few comments on it. I remember this car, I was told that the first owner specified P-Slots from the factory (or dealer) as he didn't like the bottle tops. It is definitely Stratos Blue, which is pretty rare in the UK, and was sold on Car & Classic a couple of years ago for around £18K. It's had at least 3 owners that I know of. Unusual that it has the quarter lights and RHD wipers, I assume it was a changeover spec in 1987? Owner but 1 (so its not o 1 owner car. Kelly Withers It’s Stratos blue and totally OEM, as built at the factory. I think 6 owners now. It is a special car with lots of unusual factory options…P slots, heated seat, headlight washers, spot lights etc…totally original too, no paint/damage etc…as close to new condition you are likely to find. I paid £9700 for it in 2015. Quite a rise in 5 years! Andy Milnes Kelly Withers I remember this car when it was up for sale in 2015. Super rare options and I remember it being specced by someone who worked at Bentley if I remember correctly? Kelly Withers Andy Milnes you are correct
  4. Correct bottle tops although P slots were an option on 8V but not 16V - also the colour is controversial as some say did not exist and should be a Monze blue. Stratos blue was not an option for a gti - could be a one off.
  5. It would be natural to look at a 16v corrado if you got priced out from the Mk2 16V so does give hope. Thing is with the Mk2 they have been absolutely mutilated by engine swaps and bad taste mods so simply aint that many nice examples that could be back to stock- seems to be shit loads of VR6 that are tatty for sale but a good base for renovation.
  6. The Mk2 16v is absolutely smashing records now- its gone over the Mk1 now- 3dr - 16v - original is the formula. https://www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2022-05-21/cars/ref-148-1987-volkswagen-golf-gti-mk-ii-v16-jt/
  7. I saw someone post this the other day - could be helpful for someone - they are meant to fit. Go direct to Porsche dealer will always be the cheapest to get Porsche parts. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152604749258

    ISV/IAC valve

Pretty sure that is the code that always comes up if your reading the car without engine running - if so nowt to worry about normal always comes up. Cant rember the code but if its the only one coming on when engine not running its ok. If its not have you a JP aftermarket maf fitted ?
  9. Its official Toad cat 1 are obsolete- they reccomend this one instead. https://www.autodefence.co.uk/blog/toad-ai606-now-obsolete.html

    VR6 Newbie

Heritage stuff is an abomination does not represent the stock foam at all - its like a gimps mask. Sprinter stuff is the best quality and the most expensive and shipped from Germany. Dreadnought Im very happy with and good price - does late and early options. https://dreadnoughtcustoms.co.uk/products/vw-corrado-bonnet-lining-2 Attached picture of what i got from audi .
  12. Lol i will give it a go this weekend need to do the vr and g60 - hope I dont shag it up if it gets stuck will be in all sorts of trouble ha. Thanks
  13. TRW is a great brand do a lot for Porsche OE.
  14. They dont come on 95 cars from factory cutbacks ha . Do you have to bleed anything after ? top up fluid ?
  15. Yes totally makes sense- it might be confusing as etka does not make sense- can anyone make head to tail of this. No 30 on diagram but what about after chassis N 035000 - the goodridge say for a g60 but etka does not define by model just chassis number. Can anyone notice any difference first picture g60 which is goodridge link on etka 357721465a and second vr which etka does not even show a part number - I have a feeling they are the same - late and early for rhd.
  16. Its missing the spiral section- does that matter. I know I can buy this upto chassis 50-N-035 000 * Goodridge stainless - https://www.heritagepartscentre.com/uk/357721465a-goodridge-stainless-steel-braided-hydraulic-master-cylinder-hose.html
  17. Did you have to bleed the system or anything fitting that - mine will be both original in mine - you reckon the leaking pipe goosed your old gear box ?
  18. Aye you can’t be complacent with fuel lines we know how the story ends - the actual rubber ones on the fuel pump I pulled and were really good so just left them . My Mk2 they were awful so changed out . To be honest a vr fuelling is a joy to work compared to a KR as must have quad the components including 7 injection lines alone .
  19. Anyone know the best way to change the black feedline that goes through this tunnel- would it be best to tie it to the old one coming out- is it a hell of a job best done on a ramp, ? Thanks I have this to fit from filter to engine bay. Picture of hose which is the same for a late g60 or vr - its about the only hose you can buy now so not doing the soft hose hack- if you can buy new you by new. I believe Sean has done this job ?
  20. My vr turn today - all the same eroded pipes .

    dash speakers

I just disconnected mine - prefer good quality 4 way or as dox mentioned fit some tweeters. if you can get a set of 6.5 and a 50 x 4 way stereo they run spot on - the stock 20 x 4 way are just pants. There are some alpine ones that fit but you need to trim the locating tabs a little for grill covers to sit flush. Believe these are them from memory. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111537852656?epid=57340890&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item19f82c90f0:g:i-4AAOSwwE5WVw31&amdata=enc%3AAQAGAAAA4PUV1VZU7LOxNHfZ8pT0F7ELoL7HYqzzD28wjcJaJYh%2BNJOWC3xpXg5Z%2FMPr%2BjslRMK2v9pa2WaoKCqsWANyyzOGzyniTMMJFdpjI3xsgfFfGpMud7tEvOM0enuUQUgV6ej%2BLyO%2BVVW32B4T%2FnEkmcV2c%2BjeWb5Ukr8VG59XcwxxMMSL%2FhMqJqWPSKOsOLdKAhtT74ZDGECKBdc8CZ4KP6lBLEvFBrjbGLGwe5BOnI5jgnA9doxi7TrVvdmDFfSVj63GZAd8PfgaQkDj5CX9VRT2Pxo2j9b%2F1GkOwi3Nl4yF|tkp%3ABFBMgJrql5Fg
  22. The one shown loose does not connect to anything it left the factory tidy like that just leave wrapped up in loom . Seen this on a few g60 all the same- I will get the other bits for you .
  23. Looks a cracking motor that mate fairplay.
